Sri Lanka, the beautiful tropical island known as the Pearl of Indian Ocean, was once a peaceful paradise for people of any origin, race or religion. A minority rebel group, named Tamil Tigers, has brought terrorism and turned Sri Lanka into a land of war. Continued massacres of civilians by the "The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam" (LTTE) have robbed the country and the people of development, peace and harmony that once we all enjoyed. Sri Lankan government is taking a tremendous effort to relieve the country of this war. This is a communication junction for all the patriotic Sri Lankans who want to get together and bring back peace and unity to our homeland.
